“Sometimes you have to pee in the sink” And I’ve done it time and again this year. Well, not literally. Doing the distasteful in order to advance, we all do it at some point in life. This year for me has been quite a journey. Got new places to live, new stuff to learn, new trials to face and what not. It was an insightful experience. They say life is largely a single player game but I feel privileged to have people who made it seem like it’s not. A lot did happen this year but it all still seems fresh. Time just flew like an arrow denting lasting impressions on life. Coming out of 2018, I am sorted like I have never been. Many a time, we are unable to put all the pieces together at the time of what needs to change, but eventually, everything falls into place on its own. Every story has an end. But in life, every end is a new beginning as if these are not ends but milestones. With every milestone achieved we need to prepare for the road ahead and the ride continues. ...

The lines above were a part of his letter to Tony Stark. Although I have always been a fan of the Iron Man, these words by Cap certainly struck a chord. Let me ask you a question. How do you predict whether something is going to work out or not? Allow me to guess. You'll look at the odds. India vs Afghanistan 1 st Test. Tomorrow 9:30 AM. My bet is on India. I look at the odds too! But why did I choose India? (and I’m sure almost all of you did) A few decades ago, Indian team wasn’t the same in terms of mettle, the individuals changed and so did the odds.
